Ventura Alloy and Steels Stocks and Supplies Die Block Steels DB6 / 2714 in India and abroad. DB6 Steel is an extreme pass on steel with high treating resistance and great through-solidifying properties. Its nickel substance has it uncommonly effect safe – a highly recommendable element for vast mallet & press bites the dust alike. This evaluation is generally supplied in toughened condition or extinguished and tempered to 1300 N/mm² & a working hardness of 370 to 410 HB (round) or 355 to 400 HB (square, level).
Utilized as standard steel for manufacturing passes on of different kinds, press bites the dust, expulsion kicks the bucket, retainer plates, heavily clad trim bites the dust, hot shear sharpened pieces of steels and instrument holder.

Steel Properties:
The exceptional Hot Work Pre-solidified Steel has great toughness and high wear resistance. DB6 Steel is generally provided in hard, quenched, tempered and annealed condition in strengthened condition in exceptional cases. Normally it's working hardness is 360-430 BHN. This steel grade is the updated type of DIN 2713 for higher efficiency and performance.
Application:
Dies for Specially Drop and Close Die Forgings for Hammers & Mechanical Presses, Die Moulds, Shoe Blocks, Die Holder, Piston Rods, Bolster, Cranks, Cassettes, Plastic Moulds, Shearing Blades, Tools etc.

Ventura Alloy and Steels Supplies and Stocks HCHCR-D3 Steel in India and abroad. D3 Steel have 12% ledeburitic chromium tool steel with great wear resistance. Basically it is used as cutting tools for sheets up to 4 mm thickness, blanking dies for paper and plastics, trimming dies, shear cutting edges and rotational shear edges for sheet thicknesses up to 2 mm.
STEEL PROPERTIES
D3 Steel contains properties of High Carbon 2% and High chromium 12 % tool steel with high wear resistance ability. Its supply condition is typically annealed to easy machining and its prescribed hardness is 57-58 HRC after making the dies and tools.
APPLICATION
HCHCR D3 is utilized in cold dies and tooling application which requires high degree (level) of accuracy in hardening and tempering. For example, dies drawing, forming cold rolls, blanking dies for paper and plastics, powder metal tooling and blanking & trimming dies, shear blades, ejector pins, cold die punches etc.
